“Anric Rail plays pivotal role in the SSJ project”

The Sydenham Metro $240m upgrade involves upgrading Sydenham Station to be able to operate as part of the new Metro. The project work comprises upgrades to rail and station infrastructure to support customer movement and experience.

Sydenham Station is a key component of Sydney Metro City & Southwest, located at the interface between the tunnel from Chatswood to Sydenham and the Bankstown line conversion. To facilitate the above a number of utilities and services will need to be relocated including works to Sydney Waters detention basin (Sydenham Pit).

Anric Rail has played a key part in this project from heritage works in the sensitive Sydney water Sydenham pit. Playing a pivotal part in supporting the Laing O’Rourke and the John Holland Team to complete complex track and signalling works in a very difficult brown field environment and many other works within this project.
